It doesn't work on Facebook or any apps that allow video access
it works for my videos saved on the estimator , its but app videos.

Thanks yous for posting your respond and update.
I propose you to manually Update Commuter Software from the Manufacturer'southward website. Uninstall the driver and go to the manufacturer'south website and search for the latest Windows 10 drivers available for the Graphics Card model and so install it by following the instructions given in the website.
Refer the below steps to uninstall the driver.
1. Press "Windows + X" and select Device Managing director.
two. Select Display Adapter and expand the driver icon.
3. Right click on the driver icon and click on Uninstall and follow the onscreen instructions.
4. Download the driver from the manufacturer's website.

Im now having this exact same issue, videos in all apps will non play. I can only assume it is something to do with all apps being based on Microsoft Edge merely videos in edge browser play fine. I accept absolutely no idea what to do next as this has been only another problem in a long list of ongoing problems involving the windows apps. Worse still now when I Search this trouble on google there is perhaps one or 2 pages with this outcome in windows 10 and none have even gotten close to an answer.
My primary gripe is the fact that no videos in twitter app or xbox app will play, stating the exact same fault that OP has.
Please someone, end this madness.

I've tried downloading/saving music videos on my PC via the Free Instant Youtube downloader app and it keeps on displaying the error: 'Unsupported video type or invalid file path'.
If y'all could please assistance me sort out the issue i'll most grateful then that i tin can continue downloading and listening to my favorite music videos.

How-do-you-do. Has anyone found the solution outside of video driver and sound enhancement disabling? Soon as Windows 10 Ceremony update installed I lost video in all Windows apps. Desktop and browser videos are fine. Something in the update broke app videos.
I've uninstalled Twitter app and deleted all "Packages" folders and files, reset Shop and reinstalled with no success. Not very excited about doing another Windows ten update to reinstall the Os since I have no thought if that will work in the end. Everything else works fine on the machine. SFC scan showed no corruption.
